Question of curiousity: next to her nostrils it appears that she has 2 more nostril looking spots on each side. What am I looking at? I don't know anything about snakes, can ya tell?

The "nostrils" you are referring to are labial pits. They are used in infra-red heat detection.

The attached picture identifies the labial pits visible in the picture (there are 10 total) with RED arrows. The nostrils are actually located superior to the anterior labial pits (rostrals) and are indicated by BLUE circles in the picture.

If you take a look at the head shots of the normal girl that I just posted you can see the labial pits as they extend around the side of the head.
