A month ago everyone weighed in at 55 grams or more. My girls were almost 60 grams (nearly 70 in Morgan's case) before they were bred. My sister has been "taking care" of them while I've been at school. Here is what I come home to:

This one's Morgan

Akira (look at her tail!!:(:main_no:)

And Spike..

Akira is, by far, the worst. Everyone weighs in at just under 45 grams now. I went out and bought some supers and Akira ate nearly ten of them and about 15 mealies before she started refusing food. Spike ate around 3 supers and five mealies, and Morgan ate a super and about 5 or 6 mealies.

I'm really worried about my girls--Morgan and Spike's tails look a lot worse than the picture is making it seem. Is there anything more I can do other than keep food in their cages all the time? Do you think if I bought some crix and waxies they'd eat more? I'm not so worried about Akira because it just seems that she wasn't fed enough to satiate her appetite (10 supers and room for mealies? wow!), but Morgan usually doesn't want to eat. In fact, she must have been absolutely starving to have eaten as much as she did..

So think I should just stick to mealies and supers (while I have them) or get some waxies and crix and just switch them out to keep my girls' (mostly Morgan's) appetites up?

A pinky mouse would do the trick if you feel comfortable feeding that.

Most times they're eat the pink's and waxworms when they need them though, I have alot of females that will only eat them while breeding. So I'd def try again and good luck!!
Also I make sure that the pinks and waxworms are coated in calcium powder 1st before I feed them out and this really helps too and (if not already) provide a calcium dish in w/ them at all times and how well you gut load really helps too. The other food I'd stick to if there eating them well are SuperWorms, they have more fat and protein then the mealies or crickets. You should be able to get their wieghts back up pretty quick since they're eating so thats good.
