Very cool, what kind of lights did you use?

Metal halides and actinic blues.

Distance mostly. Assisted by the ambient temperatures of the room.

I don't think I could keep the temps down for halides, but I will give serious thought to dimmable fluorescents.

I haven't, but I have always been curious. Incandescent bulbs put off too much heat, but now that dimmable fluorescent ballasts are somewhat affordable I may have to play around with it.

Hey Tony, We just ripped a bunch of dimmable Flour. fixtures out of a building here. They are new but they were a mistake by the lighting manufacturer. Let me know what your firing and we can send them your way. I put them on the supply shelf because I felt bad about trashing them. I do believe some are also emergency ballast so when the power goes off you have a 3 hour night light :main_laugh: .
