Dax is a Russian tortoise that we rescued a few months ago on Craigslist. He's approx. 8 years old and is loving his new home.

Thanks, His setup was A LOT of work to build. I've been working on it for the past two months. He moved in this morning
He's been doing laps around his tort table all day. He's climbed the ramp looking for food about twenty times. :main_rolleyes: LOL

Messy? Really? I think that he's the cleanest,lowest maintance pet that I've ever owned. :main_huh: Maybe he's the exception?

Mine just digs...he was kept in aspen bedding before I bought him and so digging has been a new experience for him and he LOVES it!! Lol

We bought a tortoise 3 years ago for our son's b-day (of course he's too young to take care of him, so he's lucky that I am willing to do the grunt work). The running joke in our house is that we'll have to find a nursing home that will take my husband, myself and our tortoise :main_laugh:
