my Stripes are hatching....

I have ten eggs from my Stripe project in the incubator, and one baby hatched today:

I'm so happy to have hatched a "perfect" Stripe! Alas, she was born with a shortened tail. :main_huh: But she will be loved lots, anyway :main_yes:

She's Red Stripe (Ariane) x Reverse Stripe (Alex) offspring. There are four more eggs from this pairing, and one from a daughter of the Red Stripe (Marigold) x Reverse Stripe, so I hope to hatch some more Stripes :main_rolleyes:

Wish me luck! I had some minor temp fluctuations in the incubator. I've been using the Hovabator so far. For Christmas, I will get a mini fridge and hope that works better.

Nice reverse stripe. You should get alot of weird stuff coming out of that cross. We did a Redstripe Tremper x Reverse Stripe Trempers and found that the Redstripe doesn't work as a trait that gives redstripes when combined with the reverse stripe. We are still working to prove it out 100% next year though.
