Very nice job-I had written a "Hub Page" about vivariums and on the hub are some links to other vivarium designs and other people who are Vivarium design officianados

Wood chips? no loose sunbsrate is the only good substrate... looks good otherwise.

*gets ready for substrate debate*

I was thinking the same thing. I don't think wood chips are good for them, or any reptile. I could be wrong though... :main_robin:

Otherwise I love your design! :p looks great!

I'd be leery of the wood chips. If you're going to set up a natural enclosure, you'll want to make sure to have a larger enclosure that will provide more room since you would take up space with decor and plants and whatnot. If you just want a nice looking enclosure, I'd suggest tile and nice decor.

I have two hubs about setting up leopard gecko cages. One is about a plain enclosure and the second is about a natural enclosure.

I just replied to your humid hide post. I think you have too much wet moss under the coconut hide. It is too humid for the gecko if your tank has condensation on the glass. Do you have a screen lid on top? Anyway you can increase ventilation? Or take away some of the moss and just lightly mist it; it only needs to be slightly moist, not wet.

Hi peeps and thnx for the responces, i have replace the coconut and pirex dish and all that moss :D for a home made tub moisy hide were they can crawl inside and i have a hood on the tank with a lid which i am going to keep ajar and hope this solves the condensation problem,
