Myrtle Beach Show

Just curious if any forum members attended or vended this new show. We didn't make this one but I've seen mixed comments from some folks we know. So what were your experiences, good and bad?

The company I work for attended. We were alittle disappointed. ALot of vendors standing around talking not too much on the customer side. To my dismay i am always left behind to take care of the store and animals.

How were sales? Did you notice what visitors were purchasing?

From what i saw it was very ball python focused. Prices / health / animals stopped us from bringing back any new lizards, save jackson chameleons, some beardies and tegus. The laws down here have redirected alot of the markets too i believe.

I heard it was kind of lame, but it's the first show so maybe it will improve in the future.

Kelli, I'll be curious to see what next year brings for this show. There's a lot of Repticons along the east coast.

Me too! We always look forward to it and our herp society volunteers for USARK. A good time for sure
