There are sometmes fish at the local chain petstore that people have dropped off because they don't want them anymore and you can adopt them for free. I picked up two of them; a red eye tetra and another tetra that I can not identify.

I know it is a tetra because it has an adipose fin. It is a long, clear-bodied fish with a bright red tail and pale red on the base of then anal fin (the fin located on the underside of the fish closest to the tail). It is a very active and quick fish. My guess is that it is a glass bloodfin tetra. But some sources show glass bloodfins with adipose fins and other sources show them without this fin. I'm curious to know what it really is. Any ideas?

An uncommon one at that it seems. The normal bloodfins have red on all of their fins while these guys have just red tails. Never seen one like it before but I really like him. :D
