I want it to be a super, but agree it's mostlikely a mack eclipse 50% het tremper:main_evilgrin: It's mother has not hatched a tremper in 10 eggs thus far.
Wow.....I want to say SS eclipse as well. Seems like I can see a faint SS shading to it that the SS has when they hatch. Time will tell for sure!!
Congrats on it either way Paulie!!!!
I have no clue about eclipse genes or anything like that, but that is one AMAZING little gecko.. definitely looks SS of some sort to me Congrats on such a gorgeous little one!!!! :sweetheart: :smitten:
Well, if you keep a watch on the eyes...
If it's a SS they will certainly stay solid.
If it's just a snow, there is a chance they will fade to snake eye or normal.
Not 100%, I know but it is something to watch for.
You know the only 100% way is to test breed.
well I will test breed it to see if it's het tremper for sure...if I keep it. I know that a SS eclipse has a SS pattern as an adult from my understanding, so time will indeed tell the tale , as will a test breed.
May I ask the difference between an SS eclipse and a SS?? Because I know that the SS has eclipse eyes already, just not understanding what a SS Eclipse is..
Well if it was a normal Mack Snow wouldn´t their be patterns? Maybe it is a Patternless Stripe Mack Snow if no SS? So a true non-albino Raptor if eclipse eyed?
That's a mack snow patternless stripe with full eyes(mack eclipse... non albino mack raptor) so a few people have confirmed here and offline. the white nose is a characteristic of the eclipse and can be seen on any cross(including SS) where the eclipse gene is homozygous.
