Name that Gecko

Can anyone tell me the morph of my gecko....I went to ***** and they had like 7 in a aquarium...with Walnut. They had just got there shipment in and i was able to grab mine before he even hit their jacked up situation. Mad at them becauce they told me I had to use what they used as substrait or he would die. Well, so I did...for about 5min until after I read online about impaction. Now he is on Tile..So dont yell at me for the walnut in the photo lol...

Ps.
I thaught he was a normal but all the normals I see are striped not spotted or am i mistaken.

Your Izzy is a Normal, and he looks big and healthy! You can also call him "wild type," since this is what they look like in their natural habitat in India or Pakistan. You did well choosing tiles :main_yes: Some people think that since leopard geckos come from the "desert," they have to live on sand-like substrate, but they come from a rocky desert, not from the Sahara!

Stripes are not Normals; they are "designer geckos" bred for having that pattern, and are called either Bold Stripe, Reverse Stripe, Broken Reverse Stripe, or sometimes Dorsal Stripe. They don't run around like this in the wild.

Yours is big enough to sex, so you've probably done that already

Yes your gecko is a normal. They are hatched out with a banded pattern that breaks up into spots as they grow. You have a beautiful gecko and good that you have done your research on their care.
