Natural limestone

Hi guys, I use normal supplementation for my geckos but not so long time ago I put a limestone rock for decoration to one of my terrariums and the geckos... love to lick the stone almost daily Do you think that this form of supplementation in calcium could be better then commercial Ca supplements? D

I do wonder how much calcium they can actually get licking the rock.

I highly doubt they get much if any calcium. I know I was looking into it for my new upcoming products, and the limestone needs to be ground super fine (350 screen) for any type of absorption to happen.

So I think I will just give them the normal dose of supplements and if they like, they can lick the rock if they like
