Hey everyone, I'm still around kind of been on hiatus. Been busy/lazy all that good stuff.
Anyhoo, I'm currently using a naturalistic vivarium for my crestie. She seems happy as can be, she's grown quite a bit and quite quickly I might add. Weighed her in at 26 grams about a week ago. First got her in May and she weighed 7 grams.
What I was wondering was, for keeping the substrate healthy and keeping the plants healthy, does anyone know of a good place I might get Captive bread earth worms and/or pill bugs (rolly polly's as i've heard them called before)? Either in or near the city of Ottawa or even a website to order from.
If not, would digging them out of the garden be ok to put in with her? I know she'd probably try to eat them if/as she saw them...I've heard it's ok, but I've also heard "Don't do it man" type stuff.
I've tried all the pet stores around town that I can easily get to and they only sell the mealworms and super worms. Any info would be awesome.
Thanks all!
Allen
