Hey guys need alittle help from the NE portion of Ohio,

I'm trying to figure out a good vet to go to. I'm out of Cuyahoga Falls Ohio. I have read a great deal on a Vet named Dr. Gary Riggs and he works with many organizations as well as works out of the Arkon Zoo. His credentials appear to be pretty good. Has anyone worked with him or has taken an animal to any one of the facilities that he works out of? His website is http://www.exoticpetvets.com/

I don't have any animals that are sick or anything of that nature. I just figured that getting into breeding I would like to have my animals get a clean bill of health as to decrease complications.

Thanks,

Ryan

That site is actually where i found the Vet that i was inquring about. I figured that someone in ohio on here took an animal to a vet and might have some recomendations.

I went to the same place that Riggs works at (my vet was named Dr.Cook) and i will definitely be going to back to that vet if i have problems in the future. When i first pulled in i thought i was going to have to find my way around (it looks bigger outside then it really is) kinda like a hospital but there's a door greeter who walks you to your destination. She (Dr cook) explained everything in full detail during the examination of my Leo's. They even gave me a de-wormer suspension for my leo's. The office/facilities were very nice, had a moderate feel, and the waiting areas were seperated, which is nice cus i dont like being surrounded by 83479 strangers like going to a dentist. Also i only had to wait about 5-10 minutes before my Leo's were actually seen. A lot quicker then what i had expected.

I was very pleased with that vet. office. You may not get Dr. Riggs, but dr.cook was very helpful/thorough/intelligent. She even mentioned having a few reptiles of her own.

Highly recommended.

At first they said it would be $120, 80 for the first client and 40 for the second. I was willing to pay that but my bill was cheaper, $41 for the first client and $40 for the second, and $8 for the Panacur de-wormer suspension. So all together $89 dollars for the exams of both our leo's + the suspension.

Money well spent. Like i mentioned before, i will definitely be going back.

They actually have two offices, one for vets. and one for humans. They are right next to eachother and they are both brown in color too. The vet. office is the brown BRICK building, not the one with brown siding. Thats just in case you havnt gone yet/not familiar with that area. Because i pulled into the human office first and my GPS said i was right on top of it so i had to call the number i dialed before then she said the vet is the brick building and the human is other. No big deal, but just something to know.
