need advice

My female that was being bullied, is now I'm noticing impacted. I'm trying now to get water into her. I'm using marcias slurry with a little more pedialite added to it. If there are any other tricks to get her bowls moving please do tell. She is very active just needs to poop.

Soaking in warm water and a few drops of white mineral oil is some other tricks that I've heard of.

Have you separated her from the others yet?

She is no longer with the male. All by her self ill try the mineral oil sounds good

She yelled at me for doing that. She is now a very oily gecko. I hope this works. still no poop and no eating

2 questions:

~How did you diagnose the impaction?

~Is she on loose substrate?

The reason I ask is because when you DO have the situation under control, you might want to address what initially caused the "impaction" if that's what it is to begin with, and fix it. Geckos usually don't get impacted from insects alone, as they are insectivores, UNLESSthere is some kind of underlying husbandry/medical issue.

Well i noticed because she was dragging her tummy on ground once and then tried to poop 3 times in a row lifting tail and nothing coming out. During the time the male was in cage he would always sleep on top of her or beside her not letting her out to do her business. So i feel that is what led up to it.

Now with all that said and done the oil did get to her. She kinda shot out tons of liquid but no brown. So i feel that went better she didn't stand around and keep trying after that she was done and went to her hide. Only thing i can think of now why she wont eat is because i just put her through all this craziness. She is a super shy/scared gecko always in hide and doesn't like to be held or even looked at when she is out in daylight. So now i think i will just not touch cage for 2 days and then on day 3 i will drop in 3 crickets and see how that goes.
