I'm trying to get back into breeding again I miss the time I put into it and the caring for my geckos but I haven't bred them since beginning of 2011 I'm afraid to put them back into the same tank again because I don't know what will happen. Is it ok for them to breed again after along period of time. will they attack each other?

In all honesty, it depends on the geckos. HEre's suggestion: take everything out of the tank that they'll be in together and clean the whole tank and furniture. Re-assemble it and if it's the tank that belonged to one of them, maybe re-arrange the hides a bit so it feels and smells "different". Re-introduce them and watch them for awhile. It wouldn't be surprising if there's some tail waving and even a bit of nipping. Be prepared to separate them if it gets heavy. I re-arrange my breeding groupings every season (and I keep the 1.2 groups together for the entire breeding season) so there's some adjustment needed every year. This season I introduced 3 first time breeding females into established 1.1 enclosures. These females had not only never been with a male before but had probably not been housed with other geckos. Everybody is doing fine. Go for it.

Yes, that's "who the heck is that?" behavior. Give them a little time and keep watching. Make sure each has a hide on the cool side and on the warm side so they have choices about where to go.

Do you know whether or not the female is ovulating? Either way, ideally if the male tries to mate and she bites him (which is her rejecting him) he should back off for awhile.
