Ok so some of u saw my pics of my female on the board and i know she was losing weight.


She will eat a crix or 2 a WEEK and a few waxworms but dosent want to eat other then that


her droppings look normal from what i can see


I bought a appetite stimulate/high carolie thing where u put it on her nose in her mouth. I gave her some no 2 much and she finally took it after some battling to hold her. has anyone seen a comeback from this ?? i figure i give her this 2x a day and hope for the best

Mix some leo diet in a small lid to a watery paste., put it on a q tip and gently dab on her mouth. you do not need to hold her. she will lick it off. Apply once in the morning and once at night for about a week. the extra vitamins will give her a jump start and should stimulate her appetite..:)

Ah, the female that has been laying then....

Maybe try Marcia's slurry to get some more weight on her and just leave mealworms in her bowl. Hopefully she'll come around quickly. Some females just completely loose interest in food while they're laying.

i figure twice a day ill give her the paste and keep the crix in there and a bowl of worms

Dont apply to the tip of her nose. you have to be careful not to cover the nostrils. place an amount about half the size of the q tip head on the side of her mouth. she will lick it off...

Try offering crickets but if she hasn't eaten them within an hour take them out. Having crickets running around constantly can stress them out.

yea thats what i ment the side. Crix she wont really touch them unless a few days past i let 2 run around and they hide in a different place then where she sleeps.

im feelin so dam guilty for addding the male to the tank and even more if she dies

well she hit 34.5 on monday and been force feeding her 2x times a day until wed night


a few crix are missing she hasent touched the worms (not suprised) and checked her weight last night 35.5 so we will see how things pan out have my gecko's tails crossed

Don't forcefeed her. It will stress her out. Feeding the paste will fill her up and make her not want to eat. Try removing the back legs off the crickets, and breaking a few of the crickets front legs so it doesn't move a lot. Then put it in front of her. Have you taken her to the vet yet? Have you tried super worms?

no intrest in the super worms

she has been "chasing" the crix around so im gonna try the leg method so slow them down
