I went in tonight, and noticed that Bert is in a shed!! His skin is pale and it
looks wrinkly, so, should I still feed him tonight? I was also going to clean his cage, should I just leave him alone?

eh let it do it's thing. i have some geckos that will eat while in shed while others won't eat before during or after they shed. It's all pretty much just trial and error. Each gecko has it's own personality and you will catch on quickly what it will and will not tolerate.

Well, I squirted him with some water from my squirt bottle, I don't think he liked it but in the long run it should help. His skin seems very loose and stretchy around his shoulders, I think by the morning I should have a nice pretty gecko. So, I will feed and clean his filthy cage tomorrow then.

Does he have a moist hide?

Yes he does have a moist hide, although I am debating whether or not to put in crushed
coconut shells (or something like that) in it or just a paper towel. He is just little so I'm afraid of him ingesting it and it causing problems. Any suggestions?

If by crushed coconut shells you mean coco fiber, then you can go ahead and use that. Paper towels, coco fiber, moss; it's all good. Unless you're feeding him in the moist hide, you shouldn't worry about ingestion. :>

Alright, awesome, thanks guys. Well when I went in this morning to look at Bert, hoping
that he had shed. I peered his warm hide and there he was! As bright as ever! Bert had a
very successful shed. Immediately following I checked his toes to make sure they shed too,
and sure enough I didn't see any on his front ones or back alike. Now, I couldn't find the
skin so I figured that Bert just ate it like most Leopard geckos do.
