I noticed my gecko had a large black spot with a tiny white dot in the middle of it on the lower part of it's abdomen about two inches above it's anus.

I read up and it said it might be impaction so I gently rubbed it's stomach on the black spot while letting it bathe in warm water.

The black spot turn into a smaller blue spot on the left side of his stomach. It also began excreting a clear liquid from it's anus.

I removed him from his 20 gallon tank (and yes it had sand in it) to a small 5 gallon tank and laid paper towels down.

I gave him a couple of drops of mineral oil and am wondering what to do next.

Please help.

Also he is not bloated, didn't know if that info might help or not.

Is the gecko defecating? Are there any symptoms besides the visual area that is dark with a white spot in the middle?

Poop is dark and urates are white. Sometimes when my hatchlings have to go, their abdomens do look a bit swollen and dark, and sometimes, I can actually see the urate through the abdomen.

I'm not saying there isn't a problem, but if he's still defecating, then there is much less of a chance of the gecko actually being "impacted"

no the gecko has not defecated yet today. The dark blue spot is getting lighter though and it was only excreting the clear fluid while I rubbed it's abdomen.

I noticed that while I rubbed it's stomach it didn't whine or attempt to run.

Tough Call. Can you take a picture for us to see?

A photo would be good. If the gecko is otherwise healthy, the black spot is usually the gall bladder... which fill and empties with the digestive cycle, and the white spot would be the urates floating around the the gecko's bladder.
