I got these Gargoyles as 1.2, but they all look to be the same sex to me. I was nver good at sexing gargoyles, and am planning on putting the group up for sale, so I really need to know what sex they are. Can anyone help?

I'd have to say that gargs are one of (if not THE) hardest rhacodactylus gecko to sex.

I'm going to say that I am 99.9% sure that you have two males there.
Because if those aren't bulges, then I don't know WHAT they are.:D
No female anything should have a bulge that big.

btw, what are you planning on selling that first fella for?

I need an orange stripe male. Badly.

If you want him (And I am going by your word that it's a male), you can have him for $225 Plus Shipping. I was looking at prices for males, and that seams more than fair for a Red Striped male.

I'd say...
gecko 1- Female

gecko 2- Male

gecko 3- Male

But I'm not postive unless I see them in person, #3 is the one I'm the most sure on, and gecko #1 was a hard to tell.

Wait.
I somehow missed that these were 3 geckos and not two.
I missed the labels "Gecko 1, 2, 3" on them!

D'oh!

He's a red stripe?

I am really looking for an orange stripe.

Gargs can be tricky sometimes. Females can have bulges that look like they are a male.
If you have a loupe or can get a clear close up shot of the pore area you can check that way, or post pics here and I can check it for you.
Males will have 4 to 5 rows of pores. Females can have pores but it will not be as many as a male, usually just a couple rows if they have any.

These are probably the best pictures I can get, they are of the first Gargoyle

The color stinks in this one, but if you save it and zoom in you can see the pores

That one looks like a male from that picture.
Here's a pore shot of a male if you want to compare the others. That's the easiest way to tell. They should be sexable that way by 8 to 10 grams.

They all 3 look male to me. Big bulges for females.

I've always heard sexing gargs are easier. *shrugs* It just takes longer for them to be sexable.

They all look to be about the same sex to me, whether it's male or female, I can't tell. Hopefully Male, because they are worth more :)

How come I can be so certain when I see pics of other peoples gargs, but feel like I have no idea what I'm looking for when I look at my own?

I would almost say your one picture of garg #1 looks like a female, because some of the dark spots blending in with the pores. But the other one shows the pores pretty clearly.
