Hi.. I am new to this forum. I have recently bought this gecko. She wasn't sure what it was except albino. Is there a certain type of albino that she is. I have searched the internet for pics that look like her and all I could find that was as light as she is was a Tremper Albino Snow. She is lighter than the pic looks. There is no yellow on her. The bands are a very light tan color. The rest of her is like off white to white. I was just wondering what kind she was since I can't find any pics like her. Thanks in advance for the help!!!!

definitely a tremper albino but i wouldn't go as far as to say a snow. she just might be a really light tremper. you can not say for sure if she is in fact a snow unless you know her lineage. so i would just consider her a tremper albino, unless you end up proving out her genetics by breeding her, to see is she in fact a snow

I think it looks like a Rainwater/Las Vegas albino because it is light and has very little head pattern. If you could try to get another photo in natural light without a flash, and especially a close-up of the eyes, that would be great!

Hi again!!! I appreciate all the help. I am working on getting some pics. I put her in the sunlight and she started to turn a little yellow. So I guess that she isn't a snow. So she must be the las vegas abino. What makes this morph? Just curious!!

The las vegas albino, or rainwater as its sometimes called (same thing) is another strain of albinoism. Its not a combination of morphs. There are 3 strains las vegas/rainwater, bell and tremper. They are just albino geckos but each strain looks alittle different.
Either way, a really nice find.
when you say she will be laying her eggs soon. What did you pair her to?

She was paired with a tremper albino male. I am hoping that she will be laying soon. She looks like she is gravid but I am new at this and not totally sure. Either way she has to lay eggs right?? Whether or not they are fertile is a different story. I am so new at this!! I have read alot about them and breeding but it is nothing like actually doing it! I love this forum though... everyone is so helpful.

With a Tremper albino male you will find out what she is.

If she is a Tremper albino, all the offspring will be Tremper albino.

If she is a las vegas/rainwater albino, all the babies will be het for both Tremper albino and las vegas/rainwater albino but look like normal 'wildtype' geckos.

If she is a snow anything, half her babies will be snows.

Hope this all helps. let us know the outcome and ask if there is anything you are unsure about.
