Need help with hatchling...

I have a hatchling in the incubator right now (clutch mate to the one who didn't make it yesterday). He is out of the egg except the cord and yolk sack are still in it. He keeps pulling trying to get free, but can't. Should I just keep him in there or should I take the egg and hatchling out and put it in the tub on moist paper towels? What can I do to help him out if anything?

Never mind. He is detatched now with just the cord left. I put him on moist paper towels in his new tub.
