Well I need help guys. I tell people all the time what a tank set up should consist of for there leopard geckos and I have had a few ask me for pictures lately. Well I keep all my reptiles in racks so I don’t have any pictures to show them. I don't have any problems with tanks I just prefer racks myself. I was hoping you guys could post some pictures of your set ups so I can show people a picture and not just tell them. I am looking for all kinds of pictures from the very basic tanks with substrate, hides, water dish, etc. All the way to the full decorated tanks. I have plenty of racks pictures so I will not need any of those. Thanks in advance for your help, David

Heres some pictures I just took of my girls set-up. On left is the cool side at about 81-83 with: water bowl, moist & dry hides. On right is the warm side at about 91-93 with: moist & dry hides. 4 hides total, substrate is EcoEarth Coco Fiber, I also keep a calcium dish right in the middle of the tank, but it was sitting out to be cleaned in these pictures.

Haha, the only thing I bought at the Dallas, Tx Rep Expo, is the big chunk of wood in the far right corner in the back, lol...

Heres some of my set ups. They range from simple for my newbies to elaborate for my breeders. Lol.

This is the fairly simple set up of one of my breeding females:
Its 2' by 1', tile substrate, moist hide made from a cricket box, warm side cave, cool side log. Then a few rocks and wood to climb on. Oh, and of course a water bowl and a food bowl. I heat with a heat mat on the right half, run on a thermostat. Warm side temps are 93-95 and cool side is average room temperature.

Heres another setup:
The only real difference is it has a lamp on. Not a heat lamp though. Thats a fluorescent bulb just for viewing purposes. I did used to use a 50w heat bulb in there but i have since swapped it for a heat mat.

And just one more:

This is a picture of my old 15gal tank

and a picture of my new 70 gal tank

Warm side is the right side of both tanks, everything else should be visible.
