ok i have 2 geckos. one is about a month old and the other is about 2 months the older i visibly sexed for male the younger is still to small to tell and was incubated for a mix. I have them both in a 45 gallon tank right now and they get along just fine my concern is the younger may be female and the male my try to breed and hurt it. if it is female when would i need to separate. or do i need to do it now???

I think they won't breed so early:D :D you should separate them in both cases - because if the younger will be a male - it will cause more harm to it, then just "breeding"

i've heard that if males are housed together at young ages they are less apt to fight when they get older dont know if thats true just wondering. But as of now they get along great they are always in the same hide. But you think I should go ahead and set up another tank huh??
