Hello, I need some help on what I can do for my female leopard gecko, Sunshine. She is 4 years old, 50 grams since I last weighed her. She has always been happy and healthy since I got her, but I was about to clean out her tank today when I noticed something was wrong with the tip of her tail. It is dried, discolored, and a bit red as you can see from the picture link I attached. I was trying to google what could be wrong, and necrotic tail kept coming up, so I am assuming this has to be it. She recently just shed about a week ago, so I think that is what might have caused it. I always mist her tank and make sure she has to proper environment when shedding. She has been behaving and eating normally though so its hard for me to tell if she is in pain or uncomfortable. I handle her every other day and she has been fine with me holding her since I noticed this. Is this something I should seek a vet to fix, or is there something more I can do here at home? I just want to make sure it doesn't get worse than it already is. Thank you so much for your help.
