need some info on a thermostat

I am thinking about getting a helix thermostat or something very similar. I want to know what do everything think about the helix or another one thats a digital thermostat. tell me what ones you use and how well they work and such I just built a new 36 tub rack for my leos and wanting a really good thermostat to keep things right. thanks

I use a alife 1000 thermostat $30.00 I have used it for 2 racks for 10 years. They are very reliable..

I have heard great things about Johnson, Helix and Herpstat. The only one that i know anything about is the herpstat. I have had mine for about a month now and it works great. It's really just personal opinion. Also there is the difference between proportional and non-proportional thermostats.

The site that i have found that gives you a side by comparison would be to search Natures Spirit Incubators. They have a good write up on both the Herpstat and the Helix systems.

i have a alfie of sort but it seems to be hard to get it to stay constant and its hooked to a about 45ft length of 3in flexwatt. I will look at the show tomorrow and see what i find I just don't really want another alfie I rather have a digital one so i know exactly what temp i am setting it too. i was pretty sure the helix was good and i heard about johnson being good too. I hope to find the supplies i need at the show. Thanks
