Needlessly worrying?

Hi... I'm new here and new to geckos and I'm hoping I'm just needlessly worrying. I've recently purchased 3 leopard geckos... one baby about 4 months old and two adults (M&F). The baby in one tank and the adults in another. I was told the adults have had eggs together and the pet store owner has them in the incubator... so far so good.
My concern with the adult male is he has stopped eating. I've only had them less than a week. He ate 2 mealworms the first night, one mealworm the following morning, and then that's it. He shows no interest what-so-ever. Otherwise he seems perfectly healthy. The other two geckos are ravenous eaters.
From what I'm reading I think I'm probably worrying about nothing. Any suggestions on getting him to eat a bit?
Thanks,
Karin

I'd just give him some more time to adjust. Some geckos aren't as laid back as others. I got my Tiamat from a petstore and she wouldn't eat anything for about two weeks after I got her, but my Mandarin whom I purchased from a breeder and had to ride in a truck for 10 hours from Vancouver, was eating the next day. If he's still not eating after a month, then I might worry.

Also, he could be under stress from living with his room mate. Are you sure that one is female? Males can bully and possibly kill one another if they're both living in the same tank. Males can also bully females, and vice versa, although I'm sure the former is more common. He might be stressing because he wants to breed and the female refuses. I mean, if his roommate is a female.

Other than that I wouldn't worry. Good luck and welcome to GF! :)

I would put him in his own tank. Sometimes males will be so interested in the females that they won't eat. See if that helps.

Thanks so much! He does want to "do his thing" with her (lol) but she keeps running off.
I may give him another week or so and if he doesn't eat I'll set up the other tank.
I just keep thinking how I'd be if I didn't eat for four days... boy, I'd be cranky!
