Hi, I was just curious if anyone else uses the Nekton-rep vitamin and mineral supplement? We dont use the one to enhance colours, just the original vitamin and mineral supplement. We bought it from our vet because he suggested that we give it to our gecko for a more well-rounded supplement. I searched the forum and not many people seem to talk about it, so I'm just wondering if its because noone has heard of it, or people avoid it...here is the link to their website...http://nekton.de/en/products/reptiles/
Its the first one on the page that we use. It says on the container that reptiles really like the taste of this supplement, and its true, our gecko really likes it!

I ran across this article and remembered someone had asked about Nekton-rep. According to this article Nekton-rep didn't include four of the minerals the label said it did, including calcium.

thanks for the article! when i get home ill look at the label to see what it says it has. We have a bowl with a calcium supplement in her tank at all times, so she gets her calcium from that, so I guess that one is okay. The reason we started using nekton-rep was because our gecko had stopped eating due to parasites and because of her not eating she got a vitamin A deficiency, so the vet gave us this and said it would be a good supplement (obviously she was on meds for both the deficiency and the parasites...the supplement was just so it didnt happen again)

Your welcome. The problem is as mentioned the label gave false info. Not sure how reliable the source is but, thought it was worth mentioning:)
