Here are some pictures of my new AFT enclosure which is housing my male, Copper, right now. On Friday I picked up a female AFT from a rescue in NJ. "Mocha" is resting in her quarantine tank and will join Copper after that. The substrate is eco earth with sphagnum moss. I have thought a lot about potential problems with the substrate and have decided that it will be OK because Copper spends most of his time in his ceramic burrows (which I made) which have ceramic floors and even eats in there. I have been checking his poo and there is no sign of moss or coco fibers that have passed through him. My leopard geckos, who are on tile, have coco fiber lay boxes and spend quite a bit of time in them --some of them are in the lay boxes more than Copper is on his coco fiber substrate. As a side benefit, the crickets that don't get eaten immediately are laying eggs and I have a nice colony of baby crickets that I'm catching and feeding to my day geckos and my banded gecko.

Very nice! I'm sure your gecko loves it in there. It looks like you put a lot of effort into giving your fat tails a good home. :main_thumbsup:
