Got a new baby at the Reptile Super Show.
She's a Red stripe from LLL Reptile.

First off I LOVE this little girl.
But there's a couple things I'm bummed about, first, her back left foot all her toes are shorter than her other feet. And I have also noticed she seems to have enigma syndrome, if that's what it is. She has been eating fine, but I have noticed she seems a bit "off". She is wobbly when walking, she almost looks drunk while she's walking. She is also a bit skinny, but hopefully I can fatten her up quick.

Is there anything I can do for her?

Here's my new baby girl:) Any name ideas?

Those short toes are most likely toe tip losses from bad sheds.
Depending on how bad her syndrome symptoms are, you may or may not have trouble fattening her up. I would feed her every other day, and give her wax worms every 1-2 weeks. Make sure she has a free-range cap of multivitamins in addition to the calcium you have out for her.

She is very pretty but very skinny, good luck with her!
I might almost call her a tangerine dorsal stripe enigma.

Yes, I know she is skinny, she ate 5 mealworms saturday night, but hasn't eaten today.

Thank you for your advice, I will see what I can do to help fatten her up.
It's kind of a bummer the condition she is in, knowing she came from a reputable company.

i think that may be an enigma...but i am no expert at looking at a leopard and telling all the genetics, as of yet. i have a red stripe enigma that the tail and the pattern looks similar, but the colors are a little different. check out the one in my avatar, or to see a bigger pic, check my profile album. good luck getting it nice and plump! i think that is an awesome looking gecko though

She's very cute. I feel for those Enigma babies but it sounds like she's in great hands with you. :) Hopefully she'll gain weight in your care.

Nice stripe! I love the look of enigmas but the Enigma syndrome sucks. Until it's either bred out of them completely or something comes along that is like them (W & Y?) I won't be an owner. It's just not for me.

I was not aware of her being an enigma, or I probably wouldn't have bought her. They just said she was a red stripe, that's all:-/

Ohhhhhh.....that sucks. So do we actually know for sure if she's an enigma? I don't know how to identify them personally, but I assumed she was by reading the posts and because of her symptoms. I think it's WRONG, WRONG, WRONG to sell somebody an unlabeled enigma. That's seriously messed up.

Enigma Syndrome is the only thing I could think of that would be wrong with her. Unless it could be something else.

If anyone has ideas or suggestions, I'd appreciate it.

It's always possible for any species to have neurologic symptoms. The signs associated with Enigma disease (circling, head tilt, off-balance gait, misjudging targets) are not exclusive to Enigma Syndrome. Rather, they are general neurologic signs that can be found in any number of species: mammals, birds, reptiles, some fish, etc. This girl technically could be a non-Enigma girl suffering from some sort of neurologic disease, *but* I'd say her odds are favoring towards Enigma just because it's the most common neurologic syndrome found in leos.

She finds her water, moist hide, and calcium on her own. It's just the feeding that I have to keep an eye on.

She's a really friendly girl. I hope I can get some weight on her.

Thank you all for your input. :)

Her head spots and off spots pattern on her tail are a good indication of enigma. I have many enigmas and just ADORE there personality!<3 super sweet. If ya really wanna fatten her up instead of offering smaller foods(mealworms) offer her super worms. The bigger food will make it easier for her to snatch up the food. My girls and one male enigma all do much better on bigger foods like superworms then tiny mealies. As you can tell with yours her aim is off. Bigger food will make it a better chance of her catching it. I have a girl who has such bad aim she'll manage to miss the supers, miss the tweezers and snag a finger! I dont get mad or pull or anything but goes ta show ya even bigger foods some just such with aim lol. She's super pretty! You'll fall in love with her and not regret getting her:3 I do as well find it TERRIBLE anyone is selling without labeling them right! SPECIALLY the enigmas! I wont even sell these guys to just anyone. Im so picky just cause i dont want people not knowing what there getting into! D: sorry you got fooled.

Im gonna have to agree on the enigma and Tang Dorsal, Im not seeing the red stripe...but maybe after a good shed! Either way she is a pretty little girl! Good luck and I also +1 on the super worms part bigger pray equals easier to catch!

I thought super worms weren't good for smaller reptiles, also because they can bite them. I'm not sure she is chewing the mealworms, I think she is swallowing them. So wouldn't that be bad?
