new baby leo not eating

i recently recieved a little leo, it is 4 1/2 inches.....i have had it 12 days, i have gotten it to eat baby food, but it wont touch a cricket normally, or hand fed....i cant make one of those slurrys, the crickets are also the smallest ones i can find....oh but i did get him to take a cricket once, and he ate all of it but one leg, then immediately regurged it......thanks for help

--How are you keeping it (substrate, temperatures on the ground)?

Good that you're using paper towel. Do you have a UTH? The warm end needs to be close to 95. Temperatures affect a gecko's appetite and ability to digest.



not at the moment i dont.....i am workin on it....i actually have the leo in a small like 5 gallon plastic tank, and she is sitting on my red tail boas aquarium, he is getting added humidity from her blocking some of the lid, and the leo is getting heat from my boas heat light.....just checked heat and its 84 above hide box, so prolly hotter inside....

That's not a very gecko friendly environment. Unecessary stress! There are care sheets available on this site. His housing situation needs to be corrected asap.

I walked past one of our snake cages carrying a gecko- she saw the boa with a rat in mouth, wigged and nearly took flight.
