hey all. i just got an 8 year old ball python. He isnt really new he was my brother's and we didnt have room for him so he took him to michigan to live with my mom where there was more room. he seems fine but they didnt take the best care of him.He eats good and the only problem is that one time that he didnt eat a rat tore up his tail. The only other pet i have is a leopard gecko so can someone give me a link to a good care sheet.

I have the basics Tank water bowl and big hide please tell me what i need..

Thanks

What a beautiful boy!
Theres TONS of caresheets out there. Heres one from Melissa Kaplan's site thats pretty detailed.

Best of luck to you and your little guy.

And I strongly encourage not to feed live prey. I know its a personal preference, but bps can be such shy creatures and a live rat can really hurt, or even kill the snake.

yea i know about that. the snake used to be at my moms in michigan and she threw a rat in and the snake didnt want to eat so the rat nibbled almost an inch off his tail.
