Anyone have any tips on stopping my bearded from seeing his reflection? He's new to our home, and from what I can find reading, he is seeing his reflection and going ape-shit at it. He was a craigslist rescue from an older guy who had lost interest. He was being fed well but wasn't being handled anymore. We were told when we picked him up that he was 3 years old, and hasn't been handled often in the past few months. Regardless of that, He is super sweet and friendly. But when he's awake in his tank, he'll randomly start going crazy at the glass (head bobbing, lots of scratching, head butting, jumping around and falling over, etc). I'm mainly afraid he is going to eventually hurt himself. He is housed in a 40 gallon breeder tank. He has a UVB light and a basking light during the day, and a small 50watt moon light bulb for the night time (new to him, we just picked it up, it's probably not needed here in FL, but we like the little bit of light at night). Other than the attacking the glass thing, he's awesome. He loves to be handled and loves laying on his big rock under the basking lamp. Eating tons of 3/4" crickets, as well as romaine and the occasional BD Ramen Noodles as I call it (The just add water stuff, BD owners should know what I'm talking about). I will be experimenting with other fruits and veggies as time goes on, I did find that he loves waxworms and superworms but he will be very limited on those.

Anyways, here's some pics of my new buddy :)

You can tape printer paper in the sides or get a tank background. My beardies go nuts for collars greens and butternut squash. He looks like he may be in need of a soak. Warm water armpit death for 20 mins.
