Good idea on keeping them longer. You probably won't get to much color since the parents were a normal and a sunburst. I think I beat this shipping baby dragons to young and small in the head for to long. my opinion is the breeder is not that reputable if he allowed it but at least they are in great hands now!! i'm glad you have them because you will take perfect care of them. Get ready for the inseact bills because these guys/gals love to eat.

Hmmm... Mr John? Not that it matters but Iwill tell you anyways. i have been breeding dragons for 5 years,, no wait its 6 years now. I have 8 adult females and 6 adult males. As for howmany clutches in 6 years I'm not even going to guess but i will tell you i raise over 500 babies a year. Hope this helps you out bro.

now now children! lets calm down

anyways. they look wonderful jill. i think we can all agree your on our side of the island now. Its nice to see you already have a favorite.

A juv. sunburst will go for what? around $90. which will work out well if you can get them all out the door.

They will not be comsidered sunburst, the female was a normal and the male was a sunburst. But she will have the dragons long enough to pick out the ones that will have carried the fathers gene.

well, from what I've read, beardie genetics are similar to crestie genetics, so who knows what these little ones will end up looking like. One's already showing some nice orange! I've already got 2 that are pretty much spoken for once they're sexable...as for the insect bills...I'm just glad that I keep a large roach colony, they really love the baby lobsters!!!!!! It's so fun to watch them hunt! OH and 1 started to shed today, I'm gonna give them a bath tomorrow now that they're nice and settled in

Figured I'd post a little update, I put everyone together today for feeding time...it's always more fun to watch them all at once!! between the 8 of them they downed 4 dozen crickets and are currently working on a mix of shredded carrots, turnip, mustard and collard greens, I had to point out my little one, the smallest of the group, yet still after everyone else has started shedding still has the best coloring. They were all on high alert cuse I just threw in the crickets LOL, they're so cute with their tails up like that!
