my leopard gecko had the same routine for the last 6 months since i got her. should would lay in her warm hide, seldomly come out, eat when she was offered food and the only times i really saw her was when she was drinking water or taking a dump. for the last week she's been roaming all over the place, actually using her cool hide, climbing on top of the hide and everything. day and night, before she would only come out at night. now she refuses to eat (i have been offering for the past week) but she has been drinking a lot of water and eating calcium powder everyday, which she would rarely ever use. any ideas? maybe she is just more active?

Yup. Many breeders say that 45 is optimum breeding weight for females so she's about due. From what I've garnered here on the forums, lack of appetite, irritability, and increased calcium consumption can all equal ovulation.
