New Camera! (DUW)

I got my new camera about a week ago and am so very excited! I have been trying to get some good shots with random objects in my light box, but couldn't figure out the settings, well, I finally did and took out the geckos for a photo shoot!

Granted they aren't the best, but they are a heck of a lot better than what I've taken in the past. Please forgive that the box is showing in a good bit of the pictures, the geckos just kept gravitating to it!

Thanks! I meant to add what kind of camera it is...it's a Canon Rebel XTi, and the lens is the EF 50mm 1:1.8 II. I have no idea what it all means really, but it works and it's simple to use !

And thanks about the RW, she is my little beauty! I can't wait to get her a mate one day and make some nice little babies :main_yes:!

Yes, it is a DSLR. I was shooting in manual mode with a custom white balance and the shutter speed was 1/800 and the aperature was 1.8, if I remember correctly.

Next time I want to raise the aperature a bit to make them less blurry, as I think some were too blurry.
