New Camera.....

I finally got my dream camera, Cannon Rebel XTi, which came with a basic 18-55mm lens. I had to pick up some toys to go with so I also got a Tamron macro lens and a Cannon zoom lens with image stabilizer. Oh and I hate those pop up flashes so I got a flash for it as well.


It's been about 8-9 years since I touched at SLR and was still pretty much a novice back then so it's going to take some time before I take this baby for a full tryout, off AUTO!! Current setting for everything is pretty much set for point and shoot.....LOL

Here's some pics I took over the weekend that I'm sure are pretty crappy but I like the effect. I took all these with the macro lens.


Baby Snow Corn.... I like how only the nose is in focus and the rest just blurs out. I know I'm crazy.... :main_rolleyes:

I can't remember what I was told this one was for sure, I think Ken said it was a Ghost.

I'm gonna call this one a Paradox Snow. She's a Snow, just has some funky colors going.

We just got our XTi on Friday. I can't wait to play with it more. I really wanted a macro lens and a medium zoom USM, but I'm just a newb. I'm using the kit lens until I'm more familiar and ready to drop more money.

Yup, ghost is definitely correct.

This one looks like a buttercreme to me. Hard to say for sure though. It's a nice one none the less! :main_yes:
