New Crested!

I picked up this tiny little one at a show this weekend. Still working on a name since I have no clue on the sex yet.

Thank you! Hades has turned out so nice. He was pretty when I got him, but his red is really starting to show now.

You use a screen cage?

If so, how do you find those to work out for you?
I've been considering a screen cage for some time now for when Crackity gets older, or for some chewies or leachies.

I've been considering a screen cage for some time now for when Crackity gets older, or for some chewies or leachies.

I just got the screen cage this past weekend. My little ones were in critter keepers and my bigger one is in a cage that is only partly screen. I decided to give the insta-cage a try and it's fine so far. I spray 2-3 times a day. If I notice problems, we'll block off the back and maybe the sides with something. I think the only problems we might have is in the winter when it's dry in the house. Summers here are very humid. I'm hoping these work because I love them. They are magnetic and super easy to put together.

Can you keep me updated on how well they clean up?

I'm 60 miles south of Chicago, so I agree, ours summers DO get very humid here.

I'd love to know how well you like it after you have to clean it.

I've read mixed reviews on them, but that's only because some would prefer plexi-glass as opposed to the screen because they say that plexi-glass is easier to clean.
Others say that the screen is easier to clean.

My little guy is in a Kritter Keeper right now as he's only 3 months old in 2 days.

As of right now, I'm not planning on breeding cresteds, but I might change my mind in the future. Not this year though.
