I'm ready to adopt out (free) my banded Tremper albino (possible hybino) with the eylid deformity. She was born 8/10 and is now 6 grams, growing slowly, but eating mealworms, active and alert. Part of her top eyelids are malformed. Initially I was moistening her eyes several times a day but her eyes seem to be open and clear now, needing moistening only about every 2 days. She can definitely see!

She needs a bit of extra care with her eyes, and to make sure she eats. I have a bowl of mealies in with her constantly, but at this point she does best if mealies are dropped in front of her.

I don't want to ship her, but will deliver to most of MA and southern NH and Maine. I can also deliver to the Albany area on 11/28 (day after T'giving) and to the eastern NY area between Albany and Lake Placid 12/6. I will be driving to Providence, RI on 10/10. I may be at White Plains for the Jan. show as well.

I can provide pictures once I get around to it with my camera. Please let me know if you are interested.

Thanks for your offer. At this point I am intending not to have to go through the hassle of shipping at all. I may change my mind if I can't sell all my hatchlings locally, but so far it hasn't been a problem. I do have someone local who has a reptile rescue who will take her, but it would be better if someone on GF could take her (without the shipping).

If only I had room for a little one...

Good luck finding her a good home soon!

I'll try to take them after Day of Atonement which is tomorrow. I"ve been holding off because I don't think I have the skill to take a closeup of her eyes that will look any good. Other than that, she's a regular banded albino with a very light tail so she might go hypo. She's discovered her dish, eating well and really only needs 1 eye moistened (are you sure you want to get into this?). I am going to do a show on Sun. and may adopt her out then if I find someone I"m comfortable with. I"ll let you know.
