I've ordered 100 superworms and 25 butters as a Christmas treat for my poor leo - he's been on reduced rations recently because I didn't have much cash for feeders and he let most of his phoenix worms die before he suddenly decided he wanted to start eating them. :main_rolleyes:

Hopefully he'll take to these a little faster, and they'll live a little longer if he doesn't! ;) He certainly likes his shiny new food dish (i.e. ash tray) that he can stick his face in without it tipping over on him.

Thankya. :D Never tried supers before either, can't get them at any of the pet shops.
Well, theoretically there's one place, but their feeders are inevitably half dead.
Hopefully their size will cut down on how many have to be dug around for per feeding. ;)

Around.
I think these feeders are a lot more resiliant then we give them credit for. I freaked yesterday when I was tracking a package of 2000 crickets for my beardies was left outside for a good 20 mins, and it was FREEZING when I opened the box. I didn't lose a lot.

Anyways, good luck to you with the supers! :) They move around a lot more and live for a long while. :)

Thanks. :D
I got my phoenix worms when it was cold out and they looked rather poorly. The ones that can be refrigerated like the butters don't worry me so much, but I'm starting to get a little anxious about my superworms. Where are they already! :tongue3: It's 2:30, and I have to go to the store. *frets unnecessarily*

Okay, they showed up half an hour after they weren't supposed to ship anymore.
The butterworms are moving. The supers are still and fairly cold. Do they go black like mealies when dead, or am I going to have to wait for them to warm up to know?
