Hi I have a 7 year old male gecko, wondering if It would be ok to introduce a female to the cage. Thoughts?

Quarantine the female for at least a month first. Introduce her and see if they do OK. If you're not intending to breed, don't introduce her.

If the female isn't ready to breed when you introduce her there will probably be a fight as the male will want to breed. Like Aliza said I would also quarantine for at least 30 days (preferably 60-90) to make sure she has adapted to her new environment and has no parasites or diseases before mixing the two.
