New from Pittsburgh, PA

Hey guys! Been lurking here for a bit decided I should finally say hi. I have 1 crested gecko, his name is Quin. I got him as a birthday present on June 1st. I'm a mom of 2 and a Preschool teacher. Besides Quin I have your normal pets, 1 cat and 1 dog. I also have 3 tarantulas and 1 scorpion. I like to read, watch movies, hang with family and friends, drink a few good beers, and do anything that involves animals. I would love to find people locally who are like minded. A reptile/invert club would be great. If your from the Pittsburgh area fill me in on the local happenings.

Yay! I'm not the only one here! Now if I could just find some invert lovers here in Pittsburgh I would be good. I want a leo, might get one some day. I tried to rescue one from a co-worker, but poor baby was too far gone and died 24 hours after I got him. Are you going to the Pittsburgh Reptile Show next weekend in Cheswick?

The Steel City Reptile show in Washington PA is on Aug 5. More gecko breeders there usually and some of the bigger names. (Ohio Gecko was there last time). I go to both usually.
