New Garg!!

Hey everyone! Just got a 2 year old female reticulated Garg this week! She's my first one, and already love her to death, I'll be sure to post pics soon!

I was wondering if anyone knows where to get magnetic rock ledges? I've seen the magnetic ledges on pangeareptile, but they're clear acrylic, and I was hoping for a something with a more natural look.

I just ordered my ledges from amazon.com. Here's a link!

I took the gray ones, but they also exist in brown. They have pre-made slots for your water/CGD dishes.

Did you order the brown or the gray one? Maybe you could post a pic when you've installed it :main_yes:

Do you have a background for your cage already? I usually use the gray HabiScape rock walls, which are quite costly, but I just found out that with the Hagen Exo Terra background, 24x18 inches, I can cut one for 14 bucks in half and equip TWO tanks with it, instead of paying 17.50 dollars for just one HabiScape rock wall.

I like the looks of the HabiScape a bit better, since they look like slate; the Exo Terra one looks like somebody brushed over it with yellow/sand color. But I think for my crestie cages I'll go with this.

The only thing I hate about those naturally looking foam rock walls is that if mealworms or crickets escape, they will bite holes in them and hide in there. Otherwise, they're perfect -- unless you're an arts & craft person and can make your own background with grout :main_thumbsup: :main_yes:
