New gecko guy here

My name is Michael, and im just now getting really into these geckos I work at a locally owned fish store, "Atlantis Aquatic Gardens", you can like us on Facebook if you want We deal with fish mostly but we do have our fair share of reptiles, birds, tortoises, and other exotic stuff. I currently have four saltwater tanks set up, and wanted to have something that I could hold and grow to love. I figured a leopard gecko would be a great choice I can't wait to get mine soon(hopefully next month) and as soon as I do ill be sure to upload a picture of him/her. Nice to meet everyone!

Welcome to the forum. New gecko next month...... that is great!! You will have time to read the info here, about setting up a good leo home. The biggest mistake I made, was not getting a good thermostat at the beginning. Can't wait to see pics

I have a Herpstat, Ranco, and Hydrofarm Thermostat, and they all work great. I started with a dimmer, then to a repti temp 500R thermostat, but I was constantly watching a huge fluctuation in temps. Once I upgraded, no problem.
