Okay, so I adopted this little boy from a family friend yesterday, and I have no idea what morph he is! He is about 8 1/2 months old, and a little over 30 grams. These sucky pictures don't do his colors any justice though! He has some seriously lavender color, and the black on him is as rich as velvet! If anyone can give me any ideas what morph he is, I would really appreciate it! Oh, and if anyone has some name suggestions I would really like that too! thank you!:D

Thank everyone in advance! ill try and get some better color pics up soon! The white from my Hova bator didn't provide enough contrast....

I'd say he's a high yellow...possibly tangerine depending on how much of an orange tint there is on the body. Looks like he can also be labeled as a carrot tail, though this can sometimes be debatable on exactly how much orange there needs to be on the tail to be called a carrot tail, so I'll have others "butt" in on that to say what they think. Handsome fellow, though.

I would agree high yellow, but no carrot tail since it's preferable for there to be solid orange without the black mixed in. Personally I'm hesitant to call a gecko "lavendar" unless there's a fair amount and it stays lavendar for a few years.

yeah, hes definitely more yellow then any tangerine ive ever seen! he does look similar in color to my high yellow who passed a few years ago... definitely not a carrot tail imo. but thank you, and he is really handsome! and he was completely free! enclosure and all!

high yellow definitely seems fitting... ill see if that lavender sticks around for a couple years! (which I really hope it does :D) I agree with the non-carrot tail diagnoses, so thank you! I don't consider a leopard geck a "carrot tail" unless at least 15% or more of its tail remains solid orange into adulthood personally:)

High yellow nice one. Many young geckos show some lavender I have yet to hatch an afghan eclipse cross that doesn't. But I also haven't had one keep it into adulthood.
