Soooo, guess whaat? My husband got me an early Christmas gift!

She looks to be a lavender/tang and is very friendly. (The first thing she did was crawl onto my shoulder and hide under my jacket's collar.) Only poking her head out to see if we were all still there. :p

She's already adjusting well to her new tank. She's in her warm hide right now, but when I first put her in the tank she crawled inside her mealworm bowl and took five.

She's much sweeter than Fafnir. But I don't know what to call her yet. I'll wait and see what sort of personality she has, and when she's all adjusted to her new environment, I'll be taking lots of pictures! :)

SOOO HAPPY!!!

Tiamat just went for another ride on my shoulders. She's so much fun, but I get afraid she's going to jump or I'm going to drop her so my shoulders get stiff. XD

Also, she's stopped eating crickets. Atleast for today. But she ate a ton of meal worms!

Forgive me for gushing, but I've never had a lizard and I didn't know it would be this exciting.

Also, is it normal to cheer your gecko on when he/she strikes at her food successfully? If I could I'd probably be waving around little flags with Tiamat's face on them everytime she chows down a mealworm or cricket. >.>

everyone (especially adult men and little kids it seems) get very excited watching reptiles eat, lol.

Well I feel kinda bad watching a snake nom on a rat or mouse. Mostly because I like rats. But I don't have much sympathy for insects and I like knowing that my gecko has a healthy appetite. ^^;
