On the way home I stopped to pick up superworms and saw this cute little dark baby. Was going to just get my worms and go but my boyfriend just HAD to point out that all reptiles were 50% off... Stupid "Black Friday" and those tempting deals. Even though it was about to shed, it was pretty active, had bright eyes and a decent sized tail. I already had an empty 10 gallon at home so I just picked up a few more things and took it home. The guy said its a male, but I think its too small to tell. Either way, I'm pretty happy with my impulse buy :main_laugh: Simple set up for now, will probably move things around and make a better humid hide. Seems new repti-carpet doesn't like to lay flat right out of the box :main_rolleyes:

Also some new pics of my other geckos

Not a gecko but a few pics of my fire skink. Not the best pictures, due to water spots and him not letting me get too close for photos.

Thanks. Any idea of the morph? Someone had said blizzard but I don't know. Spotted the little guy going back into the rock hide and seems like its done shedding.

Well saw the little one going back into the hide about a half hour ago and the shed looks like its off but I'll check tomorrow. Don't want to mess with him/her too much tonight.

As for Dante, just took a look and nope, no shed. He definitely wasn't too thrilled with me poking around there XD Maybe its just the way he's positioned in the picture?

Always true, better safe than sorry. I didn't think it was stuck shed but I sure looked anyway :p

Most definitely a good deal, $15. This one was in a tank full of albinos so he/she caught my eye right away.

Your new little one doesn't look like a blizzard, I'm thinking murphy's patternless. If you get her/him warmed up you may see a decent color change if it is a murphy's

I think you're right, now that all the shed is off I can see the little spotty pattern the patternless babies seem to have. Its only on its neck but definitely there.

He looks way dry and a little thin.

Cute blizzard though. He may be stressed and may lighten, but I have seen dark blizzard.

He had just started shedding in that picture (well from the looks of it, the guy at the store kept plucking skin off of him though >.<). Has been to the water bowl and back quite a few times today and looks a lot better with all that skin off. Checked this morning for stuck shed but there wasn't any.

- Edit -

Post shed pictures:
