and my tank setup (3rd one I've tried - been through sand and paper-towels already!)

might be "too" much in it, as if I give him/her crickets right now they'd disappear before she had a chance!

It is a bit hard to tell from the video since it's so dark and it's still a young gecko. In general it would be called an "abberrent" since it has broken bands in the body and a fully banded tail. I can't tell whether it's yellow and black or white and black. If it's yellow and black then you have to wait till its color starts changing to see how much black spotting it ends up with. If it's white and black it's a Mack snow but if you got it from a big chain petstore it's unlikely.

its more yellow and black, i got it from a retail so its probably not a mack snow like you say :(

Few months til I can tell and sex it then?

Things should look a lot different (including ability to sex) when the gecko gets to about 15-20 grams in a few months.
