Hi everyone! I just got my first crestie about two weeks ago and he is doing great. After getting a Leopard gecko about a year ago and an AFT at the same time as the crestie, i'm surprised how hardy he is and how easily he is eating for me! He is on peach crested gecko diet and little crickets. I haven't seen him eat the CGD but he absolutely loves hunting for crickets. I bought him as a he and they said he was old enough to tell. He is in a tiny container at the moment but I have a big tank set up for him for when he gets big enough.
The only problem is that it is really hard to keep both containers humid. I am spraying the big tank up to 70% humidity+ only to find that about an hour later, its back down to like 30%. The temp in my room is good, about 70 degrees. Our air conditioning is broken at the moment so I always have my fan on and this may be drying out my room. How do you keep your tanks humid? I'm spraying at least three times a day and I still feel like it dries up in minutes. I have a water bowl in his little kritter keeper just so he has water even when the spray dries up. Please help!!
This is Sasquatch! He fires up a really beautiful dark brown with some red and gold. He also has some cute spots! I'm not sure what type/morph he is. I'm sure I'll be posting more pictures later! He is the sweetest, stickiest, most confident little guy and I'm already in love with him! These are crap pictures but I have wanted to leave him alone to get settled
Thanks so much!
Laura
