new geckos eyes

my g/f bought me a blizzard for valentines day and i couldn't b happier. i literally just saw him. my question is that his eyes are black on top and normal on the bottom, i circled his head with my finger and had no response. do you think this is a problem.... i might add that he is only about 4 inches and still very young. do you think i should wait to see if he eats b4 i make any assumptions?

I would put some food on one side of him and see if he notices, and then try the other side.

its somthing like this and its the same in both eyes... thats the eye itself not the eyelid half covering it

i take back the fact he cant see cause hes beastin on some crickets, ever here of like 1/2 eclipsed eyes?
