I'm hoping this little one will be ok. It's super tiny and had all of the yolk still attatched. The yolk sac broke (or maybe she bit it) and it's in the tub. The cord is still attatched right now. She doesn't move much, but she did scream at me when I tried to wipe the superhatch off her. There is a lot of yolk by her, but she's not eating it.

Sorry for the crappy pic, but here she/he is.

I also took a pic with the yolk if anyone wants to see it. Right now she's on moist paper towels in her tub. Does anyone have any advice? I really want her to make it.

She does have all her limbs, they're just tucked under. I saw her run earlier. Her belly is really flat, not full like my other hatchlings.:(

Thanks, I hope so, too. She is the smallest hatchling I've had so far. She's even smaller than Phineaus was and he was under 2 grams. So far, she's still alive. The cord is still attatched.

Thank you! So far, she seems ok. Screamed at me when I sprayed the tub.:)

Thats a good sign! Sounds like she will be just fine. Watch her carefully, make sure she starts eating when she is ready... she might take a little extra time to get started since she didn't absorb the yolk sack, but she'll be big and fat in no time! ;)

Thanks Brittney! She's so tiny. I think we might need to hand feed her, but she might surprise me. My smaller ones seem to eat really well. I'll see in a few days. I'm just glad she's moving around.

We had a little 1 grammer hatch last week and she is the best little hunter I have had yet, LOL. These little ones can really surprise you. Best wishes with your little one. She is a beauty!
